Guys watch some of our recent rides on our 500s. I have now done 18000km of this kind of touring with my 500. Some times carrying up to 42lt of fuel with all my luggage. I recently had the valve clearance checked for the first time and it is still in spec 😁. These bikes are just amazing and...

Mine was actually my fault. I removed the ground screw once and think i didn't put it back properly. It was quite funny though. On our first outride around the brandberg it was this awesome cool morning and we were tapping it and every time i stood up the bike would cut out and i would almost...

I checked that again, its actually that mudguard that sits in front of the rear tire that rubs on the center piece of the swingarm. Also worth mentioning maybe. We previously ran nitrous mousses with 120/90-18 Mitas Co2 Rear. We now fitted a michelins desert race 140/80-18 for angola and two...

I dont know why you think the 500 sucks at longer unsupported trips? We have a fuel capacity of 760km. can cruise 120 if we like and when it really gets enduro stile nasty the bikes come to live. Would love to read the ride report. maybe you can post a link? Like Damaraland said, maybe go start...

We also run the Michelin desert race 140/80-18. After our angola trip (came back yesterday) i must say they are not nearly as tough as the mitts c02. grip etc is ok. We got them with the right mousse and that is a winner. Did 1400km in angola and the mousse still is as hard as a 2bar Pneu tire.

I haven't been on this forum for at least 3 months but still people are arguing about what is the best bike... WTF?! Read the topic! Like damaraland said. we are going back to angola for the 3rd time in the last year, doing it unsupported like all our trips and having the time of our live. I...

We have the Acerbis 15.5lt tank. For 17.5 lt we would carry a 2lt bottle in bottom of holster. For 20.5lt we carry the desert for on front fearing and 15.5 in tank. For 22.5lt we carry desert fox and the 2lt bottle. For 25.5 we carry one 10lt can in holster and full tank. The 10lt cans are 80...

I have now done 6100km on my bike. Most with luggage, some with 40lt of fuel (Angola doodsacker ) and I checked my subframe yesterday and no signs of fatigue. Done all with mousses. Damaraland now did on his mousses 2 Angola trips, 2 kaokofeld trips and one damaraland trip and still going. The...
