The wire will fall off the ignition before the key as a problem my ignition is just a key holder for the key now So  remember to take it with for the fuel tank I just put in a toggle switch for the ignition cheers Dion

i would recommended you so a search on adventure rider on xchallenge thread and in the beginning they have list of known problems and  solutions like water proofing instrumt cluster better to sort out the problems before they happen on a trip Cheers Dion

Ignition wire might be loose I had this happen 2 me on 2 different  xchallenges I re soldiered the wire and put in by switch to bypass ignition in case it happens on a trip Cheers Dion

Not the most common blank key but are avaliable you might have to go to one of the bigger locksmith If you run it to problem i can get you blanks from my locksmith in cape town and send it to my branch in durban i have had a few made Cheers dipn
