Depends if it runs in oil or not. If it runs in oil the brake lining shops won't do it.

I agree with LeonDude. Try swapping it out with one that is working correctly before you waste your money.  A thought I had, could it not be the flasher relay?

The indicators on my fugly does exactly the same thing. I do not know what causes it. Not sure if the headlight also does it, still need to check that. I shall be watching this thread. Hopefully someone can shed some light on this...
