yep that's a normal KTM 690 with just a kit on, still a very good deal looking at the extras. if you want to see a real 690 rally, google Lyndon Poskit the black bike is an actual KTM 690 rally replica that has been converted into an AVD bike.

2013 should still be the old 690 models they build for Dakar, if you have a pic i will be able to tell you if it is the real deal or only a rally kit. Ok goggled the add if you are speaking about the one in Tokai, that's a 690 with a rally kit on.

To follow up, it was the side stand switch, the housing broke letting the switch move around and cutting the enjin out. Had the switch bypassed and working fine now.

Hi all Pla help my 2014 800avd has given me a problem 2 times now, bike in iddle side stand up when i put it in first it stalls.  I have eventually fixed it by setting the clutch tighter, what could be cause of this? And permanent fix? 

So I am planning to go from Koedoeskloof on Sunday to Baviaans and stay at Doringkloof Boskamp for 2 nights from there I'm still debating to go and stay at Tsitsikama park for another 2 nights or go back to Cape town. Any volunteers to come with ..............
