Our son got his learners on Tuesday.  :thumleft: We  were pretty reluctant for our kids to ride until they had experience driving a car. HOWEVER....he is so excited and I can understand.  :biggrin: Also even though I no longer own a bike...my hubby commutes, and I ride a highly strung horse. So...

It was the front half of wings...seen from underneath (obviously  ;) ) Rest was a brownish color. Was a big bird.

Goshawk I have seen, but some bigger birds than the kites I know zero about. One bird underside of wings has a "broad" white strip... It didn't look like a juvenile...but then again I know too little. I don't want o have car accident trying to see them...but has been close  ::)

thanks dw1...helps me to start knowing the birds. They completely fascinate me....
