I didn't know Sherpa personally but I read lots of his 'posts' on UKGSer and a friend of mine bought a bike from him just a few short weeks ago!! We are all deeply shocked by such a tragic loss of a fellow Adventure rider and send our deepest sympathies to his family and friends at this sad time!
