Hi Steve, Nice trip! Did both solo last year and can't wait to go back there again. If you gonna do the ride from west to east rather sleep over half way through before you enter the Wilderness Area which is about 60km long but will take around 3-4h to ride. I can really recommend the leopard...

Howzit, I do a lot of trips solo and the only puncture I've ever had in 30000km was on tar! The solution is heavy duty tubes!!! Nike! . . . just do it!
