    i removed oil from tank and sump so there was nothing left in the motor. did the filter change and put the correct amount of oil in according to bmw handbook. i understand that once ridden the oil is circulating and pumps into the tank. but after leaving it for a whole night it seems like it has...

    when i did the oil change i drained the tank out using a syringe to suck up all the oil. i changed the oil filter.
