I am doing a oil change tomorrow on my GS800 2012. Long trip coming up
Now am I correct in saying that with a bike that has 34000 km on it 15W 50 synthetic oil would be ok?
Secondly the correct amount of oil needed is 3L.
If this is correct...

Need some advice on a strange occurrence this past weekend.
My 800 struggled to start after riding for about 45 min. Stopped to check out something along the road and when I went to start the bike again, it would only swing for 2 or 3 seconds and then stop swinging and not start...
They quoted me R1100 ex VAT

Mine probably also needs replacing but it's simply a bit more effort putting them back in when removing the wheel. I'm sure they're still serving their purpose.

Im based in Cape Town and the plank I have for a seat is beginning to become a issue on my long ride. 250km and im trashed.
If he did, it was a serious hazard to those around him. Look some of the sections he rides are knarley, but come on he falls over braking into a downhill corner. :eek7: :eek7: :eek7: :eek7:
