Very very nice ride report. Tell me, I've just moved to Cape Town (Table View) and my GS just arrived from Joburg. Do you have any easyish hardpack day ride routes that I can hijack while I get used to the area? Looking forward to getting back out there after a few years out the saddle!  :ricky:

Planning on doing this? I have a Getaway Cape to Cairo guide I bought years ago and have been eyeing it since last week.  :pot:

The views from the top of Mariepskop are fantastic! I was there a few weeks ago. Lot's of cows on the road, nice climbs, bit chilly at the top (take a flask of coffee). I can recommend this ride.
