Festival done...had fantastic ride with my son...For now he follows in my dust but soon I will be following him to places where only youth and brashness can go... He "saved it" twice on loose gravel and had  smile in admiration as he regained control... without hitting brakes on very loose sand...

The hill where the hill climb will take place. Riders will engage several obstacles on their way to conquering the hill: Koeelkop.... At the top of the hill is a replica of the British forts which dotted the landscape during the Anglo_boer War. There are GOOD prizes for all the special stages...

  :o Last year, when we went to recce the routes for the outride I went to Carnarvon with the BlackBird. This is on a plaaspad, the afdraai to Osfontein. This section of the route is gentle and then degrades to a two spoorpad. Not to fear...even a short-legged rider on a top-heavy GS will manage.

Its great when your family can also join in the things you do. When travelling by car, the worst thing to find on the road, bitumin/gravel, is a bloke on a bike. They always seem to have more fun....and then..." Daddy...are we there?"

Hey!!!!! You stole my thunder....I just came online to show off :biggrin: I was trying different combinations..even fetched the red key and quite by accident depressed both buttons and " the clocks started flashing". So now I don't have to trade in my bike for a new set of clocks!!! :thumleft:

:thumleft: There is no reason why these bikes shouldn't be able to do it. Just remember, these are not XT's nor KTM's. Treat them gently, as if they were BMW GS's and you should get far... :biggrin: That was for Rynet! seriaas  A friend of mine did many kilometres, and he is not small!!!! on...

The digital clock on my XT has gained some twenty minutes over the last three years. How does one adjust the time? I've tried various selecting/adjusting turning keys and looked for hidden buttons ??? Any ideas?
