Anyone out there that can tell me what chain size the 800GS use. 520?, 525?, Other?, it is not 530 (that belongs to superbikes) Tried to match a 520 on the sprocket but no go, although I'm told by various sources that it could be a 520.

You first had to piant it with a liquid called galvetch or galvaetch. Believe it is some kind of acid that react with the zink, then you can paint it.

They fetch me and the bike from Askham to Upington the Saturday evening. (collected about 18h30). Booked in a B&B/Lodge for two days, had a rented car for two days, extended to three days by BMW Upington. Transport of bike from Upington to Midrand. My only expenses was fuel for the rented car...
