    Power connectors on Super Tenere

Call Trevor at ADV Rider on 021-5111007. The Powerlet sockets are brilliant, come complete with a loom and there are a choice of brackets which can be used to mount the power socket. The loom connects direct to the battery and take about 10 minutes to connect. Brilliant equipment which we have...

UK not safe for your bikes...

Sadly, bike theft in the UK reached epidemic proportions where riders became focussed on making their bike more difficult to steal than the one next to it. The theft is going to happen, you just try and make sure it isn't you. Scooters are a real problem and they disappear, in their numbers...

Normal people use a ramp to offload a bike......................

You make a point very well! Although gravity is his friend, while he's holding the ass in the "hoog voor" that's a massive weight - hell!

    New DL650 V-Strom

Get hold of ADV Rider (Trevor) on this forum at 021-5111007. They sell the Powerlet sockets. I fitted these to all six of our VStroms. Takes 10 minutes and you have, what looks like, a factory installed cigar lighter power socket.

    Would you buy grey?

BMW run a global warranty, which means your bike is serviceable and repairable globally. (Maybe, this is because BMW riders know what it is to go far!  :pot:) When I brought my RT over from England, I had nothing but excellent service from BMW when I needed the bike checking over. In terms of...

    Ping Nuvi 710 Users

The only way to power your 710 is by using the L-Shaped piece which you use in the car and has the female for the suction mount. The ram bracket accomodates this L-Shaped bracket and works extremely well. We have a few on our rental fleet and the clients love them. To date, have yet to have a...

    MOTORCYCLE SEAT COVERING

He did an excellent job in matching the line from the centre panel to the seat, creating the flow. You can actually choose any colour combination you want, obviously subject to availability of the particular colour and fabric.

    MOTORCYCLE SEAT COVERING

Peter is a quiet old retired guy who spent his working life in upholstery and fabrics. He now does this from home as a little retirement business. I agree, R180 is dirt cheap, so possibly the pricing could also depend on your generosity. L

Just called Peter. His price is still the same. I cannot believe it!

    MOTORCYCLE SEAT COVERING

The seat covered, including material and labour was R180.00. This was a while ago so prices may have changed. He also does seat modifications, so those of you with the butt-killer 650/800GS, he can remodel the seat making it wider, flatter, lower, whatever. Cheers Lawrence
