Howdy all
Is there a trick to removing the bolt supporting the front brake pads on the 990 Adv, or am I just being thick?
I removed the retainer pin, but the bolt won't slide out even though it does rotate freely. I also applied some Q20, but no luck on either side.
The hammer is next in line.
It looks like you either have to parse the HTML from the Passes Index thread :pot:, or recapture! :lamer:
I reckon a sweet and short Python script will do nicely. That way you can automagically update your database on scheduled intervals... :deal:

A positive ending. My friends at Proaction collected the bike from my office, replaced the battery once more, and delivered it to my house the next day - at no charge! ...and I didn't even put up a scene.

The bike is still in the workshop. The battery was definitely being drained and last I heard the regulator was suspected.

I think you're on the right track... Yes, it's the same whether in gear or in neutral; sidestand in or out. It just puzzles me that it resets completely, as opposed to just "ignoring" the start signal.
