    I had a issue like that on mine - I cured it by spraying (lots of) cleaner into the ignition switch, and it never came back... Worth a try:)

    How many dogs use their bikes daily for commuting and what do you use?

    KTM 640 Adventure 30km round trip to drop of daughter at school (and beat the Reddam traffic), breakfast, work and home again. Over Ou Kaapse Weg as a bonus.

    Had a similar issue on my 01 Dakar - pulling and checking all the fuses sorted the issue.  Interestingly, the reserve light also didn't work, although the others did. Ian

    Ex China online price is Rk35 for the top spec, incl luggage.... add duties and transport.... Hmm, paid 40k for my 2nd hand 640 Adv, and I know which one I'll prefer.  But what is the cheapest comparable new bike?? KLR?

    It's a rebadged Chinese bike: Zongshen RX3 (ZS250GY-3) Dual Sport https://en.zongshenmotor.com/?q=node/892 https://www.chinariders.net/showthread.php?p=163547 Unfortunately the weight is 175kg (I presume wet), so not really a lightweight...but the low seat position, and lower weight might suit...
