Thanks guys. I've checked and re-checked the wiring and confident that's all in place so thinking along Welsh's thoughts that the tank got damaged during repairs. I'll probably need to remove it and strip out the pump to check the float's ok.
I had my tank repaired after being bumped. The tank had a dent on the right hand side.
After getting it back and putting it back onto the bike AND filling the tank, the guage shows empty and the reserve light remains on.
Any suggestions what the problem could be?
