I've had the privilege of sharing a campfire with Wouter. Definitely not a poser - I doubt there's anyone that can't learn a thing or two from him. 

Mmmm...price dropped to 16K. Do I go for it or not. Will be used to commute, literally 2,5kms from home to the office and back. PK to the first oke that tells to walk or get a bicycle.  :lol8:

Thanks okes, I think I'll keep my eye out for something better then. Not in a rush to buy anything, just looking to reduce the mileage I'm putting onto my Defender 130, which is also not the ideal towncar. Hoping a KLR or similar will turn up at a ridiculously low price. Just need to stop...

One of SWAMBO's colleagues is selling his 2000 BMW F650. He's asking for R25,000 (now R16,000). Any advice on whether it's a good deal or not would be appreciated. I'm looking for a commuter and weekend toy. I'm told it's just had a major service. If it makes a difference, I'm a big guy, 6'2"...

It sold. The search continues, but at least I've added something else to my list of potential commuters.

Quoted R1,950 this morning to transport it. Sound reasonable? I don't have anything to compare it to.

Still available? This would suit my commuter need perfectly. Just got to figure out how to get it up to Jo'burg (no time to get down to CT and ride it up myself at the moment).
