I ended up buying a bell mx9, was sold on the desert fox, but then one day i strolled into a bike store and tried on the bell, it fit perfectly and when I went to pay I got discount as it was the last one in that size, so it ended up costing the same as the desert fox. Recently bought a Bell MX9, its a bit noisy at speed, but if you just use earplugs the noise is minimal. I've had no buffering issues, even at higher speeds. Its a great helmet and I would really recommend it, if you are looking at adventure helmets.
