The simplicity of it is that a battery's efficiency is affected by temperature, the lower the temp, the less efficient it is. So, if you're battery is on it's way out, it might be fine in summer, but come that lekka cold morning in winter and it struggles. Here's a link explaining things a bit...

Had a chat with Wayne on Wednesday, the front end was reworked by Martin Peatzhold of MP Custom Valve to fit in with the longer travel rear shocks.

Forks are stock XR and Wayne used Harley Streetbob front and rear rims. Being the die-hard Harley fanatic he is and having the need for a DS bike, this was the natural way to go for him, others followed...now the factory must just catch a wake-up  ;) Oh ja, headlights are Buel XB.
