I struggled to find a set. Eventually found a set in Potch for R1500. They were in brand new condition. Good luck. Will let you know if I come across a set

I had exactly the same issue on my 1150gs!  I just got mine back now.  It was exactly what Welsh says.....slave cylinder.....worn clutch because of it!  R8800 later which included shaft seals, clutch rod, diaphregm spring, clutch plate and slave cylinder....very sad but happy to have her back on...

I also pay aprrox R450 for my 2003 GS1150 with stated extras (Panniers and top box).  I originally got quoted R280 from Miway but now their quote is at R450???  When I ask them how they got to such a different amount they cannot tell me.... ???

No problem!  Send me your/his email address and I will send him all the info etc.  It is a tricky test if you dont know what to expect!  Especially on a bigger bike.  But if you are comfortable on your bike its easy.  Just nice to know what to expect before you go!

Yes according to the terms of having a learners you may not carry a passenger.  Would I get a fine in a road block or will they make me leave my passenger behind?  Also in terms of an accident will my insurance cover be affected?

Anyone got any comments on carrying a passenger with only a learners??  What are the consequences with insurance, roadblocks etc??
