Buy a piece of amber Perspex from Maizeys Plastics (less than R20) and cut it out with an electric jigsaw........I've made many like that.

I use cockpit spray. You can use it al over the bike especially on dull black plastic and on all engine rubber. Works good on the tyres also. Will attract dust, but not too much. Makes my 2009 GSA look brand spanking new....
