Gewig? Ja seker n goeie punt maar as 185kg te swaar is of te begin swaar raak kry dan n 50cc, en as die ktm 640 of 690 beter was hoekom dan is hulle so ver agter op verkope teenoor die Tenenere Z? Yamaha het al Dakars gewen nog voor daar Ktm's in Suid Afrika te koop was.

Goeie punt wat jy maak, maar ook eintlik nie. Die Gs650 is n goeie bike maar het sy eie foute op sy eie manier, parte vrek duur, water pompe wat aanhoudend probleme gee en so, maar dis omtrent al. Enjin baie betroubaar maar voel bietjie dooierig teen oor n Yamaha xt660z, al wat ek kan se, Koop...

Thanks for all the advise, i had a klr650 for almost the whole weekend and yes, what a bike! But it will just never be as good as the Tenere, my mind is set, new bike coming month end. Thanks again for all the comments.

Hi Alducar Yes i have more or less 2 bikes to choose from, The KLR650 and the Tenere XT660Z, i think the klr would be more comfortable but xt has the look and quite a good rep. I also love the sound of the klr. What is your tyre combination and brand?

Hi guys, thanks for the advise, and yes, coming from the tl1000r and wil be deffirent but then again that beast scared the crap out of me, i also spent quite some time on a raptor 660 and back then that motor on that quad really impressed me. :pot:

Its so difficult sometimes to make a choice, its not like i can test drive each and every one on the market but with all the experiance here in Wild Dog i believe i would get the right answers.
