I've just been told by a camp up there that there is a "buffalo fence" at Sherobe and that they wont let me through on my bike. This sounds odd!!!!??? Sherobe is only 40k's north of Maun. Can anyone confirm this?

Hi guys, Some more route advice would be appreciated. We really want to ride across the pans and check out Kubu Island, but as you can only camp on Kubu (we're booking chalets / tented accom to avoid all the extra equipment) an overnight wont be possible. Does anyone know how accessible it is...
