    No was just for labour - I used the original spokes as they were ok. But considering the amount of work required (remove tyre/strip wheel assy and spokes/clean up everything/reassemble spokes and true up/install tyre again and static balance) I think R900/wheel was very reasonable !

    Price quoted is not bad at all ! A few months ago I imported a set of gold ali rims for my XT600E (not Excel, but good enough) from Indonesia company called 'Vintage Avenue" (they specialize in older stuff). Rims arrived in 6 days (yes 6, from Indonesia !) and very impressed with quality - cost...

    Hi Superfoxi, I eventually got feedback from one supplier that Excel doesn't make a 17" alli rim to fit something like an XT600 (only a 4.5" wide one for a motard). They then referred me to a place that can supply (Vintage Avenue) and is apparently reputable...so I ordered !
