I had similar twice. First time it was a loose bolt on the flywheel that wiped out the magneto. Second time the wires from the magneto to the rectifier/regulator touched the exhaust, melted the insulation and shorted.

OK I get your point, next time around I will pack an 85 in the pannier bag for that part :-) Jokes aside, seriaasly impressed with those laaities! And with dad for giving them the exposure. At that age my two daughters were riding KX80s, and currently my grandson is showing keen interest but at...
