You could fall on your way to work, plate hangs loose, you ride on highway, plate comes loose and hits somebody on the windscreen while texting and driving, they get huge fright and for no reason jerk the steering wheel, suddenly swerving and bumping other road users next to them like pin ball...

If you do go the broken number plate route.....do like I did.....wear the older scratched helmet, damaged jacket and all, and when you do get pulled over say "Eish officer, I fell this morning on my way to work"  :peepwall:

They did an affidavit you....just note that you are not liable for licence fees anymore, but still liable for any other fines. :deal:

Again, depending on region, I was informed (after a heated argument and later clarification by manager) that you have 21 days to submit the C O O form without the buyers signature. But if you do this (form with no signature), then you need to be in the possession of the buyers original certified...

I agree that the process could differ depending on region and person behind counter. I'm going through the exact same process now, and had to pay the license fee as well... but basically there are 3 options: 1) Have the buyers ID, residence address and a SIGNED (by both parties) change of...

Extended warranties a waste if you claim for small stuff....they usually look for reasons not to pay out. One word of advise, and this might seem a bit on the dark side, but if something small does eventually go, "make sure" something big goes with it....then they will find less reasons not to...

When in doubt...use both toghether :pot:
