Hi Guys, anyone gutted their standard pipe? I need a bit of advice on how to do it. Where to cut it and what to remove. Some help please! I have two pipes so I can practise on the one. I dont want it too loud but I would like a bit of a bark on it..

Hi Aprilian you nailed it. Had her opened up and diagnosed the problem as dust getting in past the standard air filter.Luckilly the barrel didnt get damaged but a new piston with rings and gaskets are whats needed.

Raaait... thanks to dipstick I have a pipe to cut open... before I make a mess of things how did you do yours and did you take photos perhaps?

The inside of the silencer corrodes and the inside comes loose thus preventing the bike to breathe properly. Can hear it when it idles, theres a rattle in its exhaust.
