I got my 1290 R with pirelli mt90 and got 8500km on the back. This was with 90% tar. I replaced it with tkc and got 3500 from those. I have e07 now and it's too new to comment on life expectancy yet. Pirelli: Great for commuting (rain included) and very capable on dirt (even a little mud)...
