Before removing the old fuel pump from it's assembly, i did test the pump again by connecting 12V from the battery straight to the Fuel pump but no go, dood, morsdood, vrek.. After some battle to get the strainer removed from the bottom of the pump, i stripped the old Fuel pump from the fuel...

Hi Bobnob, thanks, Problem: A 3 Series BMW's fuel pump is quite expensive. It is about R5,000 for a new one.

Hi Jughead, how mutch do you want for the pump? Is it only the pump or the complete unit that fits in the tank?

Hi Guys. Thanks for all the information. I did remove the Fuel pump and connect 12V straight from the battery to the pump. Damm!!! Fuel Pump is stuffed!!! >:( Any sugestions where I can get hold of a Fuel Pump at reasonable price?
