I've been out of biking for about 15 years now, but I'm currently building an adventure bike, so I'm rather interested in this topic.
From what I gather so far:
1. Knife in a gunfight is a bad idea, especially without training.
2. Fake gun in a gunfight is also a bad idea.
3. Threatening...
I had a 1999 R1 back in the early 2000s. All the traction control you needed was in your right wrist and the carbies made it react like an on/off switch.
Literally the most fun you could have with your pants on.
I downgraded to an injected GSXR1000 a few years later.
I miss that bike every day.
