Very easy to work on, getting standard parts is easy enough i.e. bearings, chain, sprockets, etc. Engine parts are a bit more tricky. But you could look up the DR250 (non Djebel version), from what I have read the parts are more readily available and will fit the Djebel.

Yeah it's been quite a journey with this bike. I have explored most options from buying another DR to marry them into one bike, to shipping parts over, etc. It's  just not financially feasible for me. As much as I love a challenge, I simply don't have the time or patience for it.

Yup you're right about that. I got scammed by a guy who called me saying he had the parts. Long story short, I paid a 30% (R900) deposit and I'm still waiting for the parts to arrive. I feel like a bit of an idiot... oh well we live and learn! So it's back to the drawing board, watch this...
