The What Did You Break Thread.

My Transalp´s bashplate first, and then, a fraction of a second later, the waterpump. It happened on dirt two weekends ago, and was the first time my bike was on the back of a truck :( , but not before she managed to blast up a dirtroad with no cooling fluid on her to get me near tarmac so...

A couple of Transalp questions, windscreen/fuel consumption

The bike´s standard, the noise I refered to is wind noise, which can become quite high without earplugs, I guess it´s different from person to person, but last year when I did two 1100km days in a three day weekend without earplugs my ears were ringing for a day after I got home.

A couple of Transalp questions, windscreen/fuel consumption

So I see my economy is normal then, cause I used to get 5/5,5 l/100km when breaking in and before starting to wear earplugs, now that I do I find myself cruising at higher speeds on the motorway with less offort (+-125kmh), so that extra liter per 100km might be the price to save my ear drums

Wino, I hope you don´t mind me linking to this picture of one of your reports, but I´ld like to know what make is the windshield in the blue Transalp. The other thing is fuel consumption, I´m interested in knowing what kind of fuel consumption you guys are getting, I´m getting...

Lamborghini tractors, great roads, getting a TA stranded

I was riding on Tourances, and the trail had no space to build up speed before it started rising, so after the first tumble I became unable to start moving forward (up), I´m sure a bike with shorter gearing and proper offroad tyres would probably climb that, but I doubt I could do it unless...
