I just went to see Abie but couldn't because they've wheeled him into theater again.  (About 1100 - the sister in ICU said they'd take at least an hour). He's in Cape Gate but probably no point in visiting before tomorrow because I reckon he'll be out of it for the rest of today.

The BMW Club and Donford are putting on a Ladies Only training day at Anura Wine Farm (near Butterfly World) on 16 August. Any bike, any lady :-)  This day is not just for BMWs and any size of bike is fine.  We were asked to put this together by ladies who have attended other training days...

Unusual for me to use a cage, unless I'm carting bike stuff around, or the bike on a trailer.  My 1200 GSA is almost 2 years old ... just got it back from its 70,000Km service ... off to Wild Coast next weekend :-)

I wouldn't spend the money on an extra tank.  You can ride right almost anywhere and find fuel within a 350Km range, which is about what your bike gets.  The advice on a fuel bladder is good; compact when empty and you can fill it when you know you're possibly going to need it.

This has been a good chuckle :-D Bikers will ride 100s of Km out of their way to help a fellow biker, they'll lend or give them parts from their own bike, swap tyres and wheels and pretty much anything else to help ... but don't send them a post or they'll get so aggro the Chicago chapter of...

Mine's the same even after replacing the gearbox bearings. Haven't had any problems though.
