The AUS Uni guys told me a couple of months ago via email they are fitting up a prefilter for the stock 690 airbox.  I imagine it is something open cell foam going into the stock snorkle before dirt hits the main filter. Hope they bring it out soon.

I had dust in the airbox when I first checked it at about 400 miles.  Stock paper filter - no grease around seal. I changed to the Australian Uni with a nice seam of waterproof wheel bearing grease around the rim seal. No dust since.
