Wife brought me the I-Pad so I could get up to speed with the RR. Thanks once again to one and all for a LEKKER trip even if I ended up in hospital - it was still all worth the will. Hope to be discharged later today. Thanks once again.

I did that road/track twice a week for 3 months while doing boarder duty in the mid 70's. Rucacana, Swartbooisdrift, (Sodiliet mine - Company base), Euppa water falls, Ongonkwati, Opoho and back to Rucanna was the ration-run with a Unimog with sand bags as seats and it took 3 days to do per run...

Hi - did that the trip via Botswana a few years ago but on tar road only but stayed over at Kasane just outside Chobe (Botswana). No bikes allowed in the game reserves but a short trip to Vic Falls from there which could easily be done in a day including the boarder crossing into and out of Zim...
