I have replacedt he feulpump and drilled a hole through the inline feulfilter and fitted a feulfilter on the outside of the petroltank. Bike is running fine, but feulgauge not working and yellow triangle and low feul warning keeps flassing. Feultank abour 3/4 full. Any advice
I have played with the rear preload on hard, soft and in between no difference. The wheelbearings and tire was replaced last year, went on a westcoast trip with no hassles. After the steering bearings was replaced all the shit started. Will give Donford a call and see what they say. Thanks for...

I am still struggling with a tankslap at any speed above 140. Have tried everything, loosen and tighten the bearings, and nothing better. Do anyone have info, or who can i contact to have a look at what is wrong. I am in the Western Cape.
I`ve done the procedure as Mike explained, and it was definetly over tightened, by Bmw. I`ve loosened the bearings and torqued it again, put the bike on its centre stand and you put your weight at the back of the bike so that the front wheel lift of the ground and the stearing turned by it self...
The tyres are almost new. It is Mitas 07, back and front. Have about two thousend kilo's on them.
Spoke to Mike and he gave me a procedure to follow, to see if it is over/under tightened. Will have a look tonight. Like he explained, is that it is possibly over thightened by them.

It was done by Donford in Stellenbosch. I supplied the bearings. I think it was Koyo bearings, they said it was good bearings. I don't no what grease was used, but hopefully it was the correct tipe.

Can anyone please give me some advise. My srearinghead bearing was replaced by Bmw on my 800GS, and now the bike feel unstable at any speed above 120. It feels like the stearing are whobally and that there are not much control.
I Need a new ECU. Have tried another bikes, and it was fine and running. No EWS signals. Have tried to get it fixed last month with no success. Order a new one from Bmw on Friday.

I`ve posted an topic before regarding an EWS signal. The computer must be worked on, but now I am looking for the wiring harness for the engine management box, in order to get it fixed.
I am in Western Cape. The symptom was an EWS signal on the dash, that was according the manuel a faulty immobiliser and the would not start. Even Donford thaught it was the problem untill they used another bikes computer and then the bike was fine.
I've tried to contact Acme but no answer...
The computer on my 800GS, according Bmw is blown and must be replaced. The cost is R12000 just for the box. Do anyone had similar issues and where else can i get one. Any help will be appreciated.
