Had the same problem with routes, now convert all my routes to tracks on BC, make sure you give them a name that you will recognise and a different colour for each track on tour trip. I normally "store" the routes on BC and delete them on the zumo when not used. You can then just load the tracks...

Did a complete rebuild of an old wrecked tw, amongst other replaced the rear drum, it is a loose drum, took a while to seat the brakes after fitting new drum and shoes, check the inside diameter, the wear limit on the rear drum is 111mm, it will still work but on a smaller contact area.

Had a ride on a manual one on tar, felt much the same weight wise as my f800gs adventure, not sure if it had centre stand and crash bars on, enjoyed the ride so took a look at the specs, was suprised by how "heavy" it was on paper. Have you fitted centre stand and crash bars, rear rack? Any idea...

I agree, shorter windscreen would work, if I stand up on the F800gsa the airflo is clean and quiet (bmw DS helmet and earplugs) but the moment you sit down the buffeting is unbearable. Have also tried wunderlich deflector and Kappa Airflo screen, the wunderlich deflector makes no difference...

Hi J Question,we put the thermocouple under the headlamp cluster, what will happen if I go to Sutherland  and start the day at -5C?  The thermocouple would then possibly have a very high resistance, or is it linear with the density of th cold air? Would the location under the seat not be better...
