Thank you for all the suggestions. Dux helped out with the suspension and now with new tyres the bike is riding perfectly. I will look into upping the front sprocket but I don't think this bike can afford to lose any torque... I now understand all the tranny love going around.

It is still good. The foam has not compressed and the material is still tight and undamaged. Rides are still far more comfortable than before.

After seeing the recent HP2 seat that was recovered, I took mine to Flying Brick. I asked for some extra width, softer foam and 10mm taller. I took a little test ride today and it is far better. The seat is still thin while standing but nice and comfy for the long stretches. I am very satisfied...
