Hi guys, I have noticed the same noise coming from the engine and also having starting problems.  It starts after about 4 seconds of cranking....is that normal? I also checked the valve clearances and they are all in spec.  How do I go about in checking the rocker for play? It did have lateral...

I agree, I dont know what the big deal is about servicing your own bike.  Yeah sure if you suspect something is wrong that is above your pay grade then yes take it in to KTM or a bike shop but to service it every time at KTM just for the stamp in your service booklet..... I don't know about...
