Which of the manne have gone over the pass on a carb fed plain old 125cc yet? I'm wondering if it would be possible to do, without red lining it on the way up (from CT side) , particularly if the rider is a lard @ss :pot:

Yep, that's the plan, but let's give the dealer their due whilst warranty is active? FWIW. How many WD's would rather have a dealer service a bike for their percieved experience/skills, or is that 'stealer' label prevalent with Japanese brands as well as HD's? 

Lets say, the bike was bought new, famous Japanese brand, made in China (I guess most of the bread and butter models are,nowadays) 1st service @ 1000 kays was approx R180 bucks, what is the next one, at 4000 kays, likely to cost? Just curious, after some years of paying fantastic sums of money...

Hi,been reading for a long time,fascinating site,and will be moving to DS after 4 years of riding a Sporty, looking forward to all the experts's inputs,opinions. Promise not to post anything KLR v DR related. Currently riding a small Yammie, just enjoying it's chuckability. :biggrin:
