Such a lekker trip and story, thank you for the read. This is a bucket list trip of mine, my little KLR wants to do this, I am happy to tag along! The intention is to get another motorcycle and do this with my son.

Yes, I know Richard, that is my local shop! But , I have to cry off any trips. I am required to be back at work earlier than I originally  thought, so must postpone any riding plans for March..............buggar.

Hi Folks Anyone planning a ride from the Garden Route during March? I stay in Hoekwil, keen on day rides on my little KLR. Am thinking of a zip down to Die Hell and back. Unfortunately work commitments can play havoc with my plans ........but it is worth a shot!

Hi All Thanks for the welcome. Yeah,I am loving the dirt riding after years of road bikes. Still learning though but wearing out knobblies quickly on the KLR. I am lucky to live in an area of fantastic dirt roads and passes.

Hi Folks, I am fairly recently ex Joburg, based near George and enjoy my gravel travels with my humble KLR 650.  Mostly long day rides in the area. Been a great bike to get into the adventure style travel.  Most of my riding has been road bikes and tar.......focus is changing now!
