Repacking is quick! Just drill out 4rivets and tap core out with a broomstick... Because of the design it uses very little material, so costs are minimal! Otherwise great condition! Dummy can also great for tool storage!

It is probably the pump. There is a propellor like device inside with a washer between it and the engine oil, apparently the seal can go and this causes the leak... Take it to the dealer, but i have heard that the seal can be fixed...

I made a set up from his instructions for my Dakar and it works brilliantly! I matched them to the Kappa luggage frame with a mounting similar to the Touratech system, and there you go, full aluminium system for under R3000!  :mwink:

Hi All I changed my exhaust on my dakar to a supertrapp adventure pipe on saturday, went for a ride, all seemed fine. Decided she was looking a little dirty yesterday so gave her a wash. This morning when I jumped on her to come to work, and she just wouldnt fire... Starter motor turned fine...

a friend of mine had similar problems with his girlfriends funduro. his solution was to get some of the padding in the seat removed and recovering it... cost all of r300 to do!

Hi All My brother is looking at upgrading the front disk to 320mm. Does anyone know if it will fit straight up or will he have to change/modify the calipers and mounting? Thanks Steve
