Yes the one in Blaauwberg road and yes BMW not helpfull at all.They quoted me R8225=00 for new light and accept no responsibility for wrong import by BMW SA in 2001 or wrong issued part if the light was later replaced! Just not their problem >:(

Failed again. No masking allowed

I just got myself the same problem with a asymetric headlight on a old(2001) BMW rt.Bike has been in SA for 12 years and I am the 4th owner.Never any problem with RWC but failed last week in Blouberg!! >:( New headlight is costing R8500=00 (part only) so I guess I"ll be trying the masking also??

What year model is the RT?? I 've got a 2006 1200GS

withI bought this bike in 2008 as the 3rd owner. Mainly used to commute on tar (50km dly) Managed to do few trips on gravel to the Southern Cape.On such a trip I lost control doing about 50km/h going around a corner.I bought some land near the Malgas pont;but could ride away with a few injuries...

Was also quoted R700=00 cause they only sell the set(about 18 months ago) @ Atlantic??/ Managed to buy single one at Hamman for < R100=00. Guess where I took my bike for the last 2 services..
