Mine bent in exactly the same place after falling over at approximately 20 km/h in deep sand in Botswana. I don’t think it will hold up well in anything more serious.

We saw this elephant early in December some where before Nata in Botswana. My buddy took this pic of me in the foreground. Humbling stuff being on a bike and so close to that animal.
