According to the person who serviced my bike it was the fuel probe assembly the was loose. It was dangling in the tank. All it took was for it to be tightened up. Its 100% after the service, didn't need to replace anything

I also suspect it might be the fuel sensor. I commute daily and only fill up when the tank is empty empty.
Will check it out...

Anyone experienced this before? After filling up i get a general failure / low fuel msg, this keeps on flashing until I've done +-100km
Ive checked all wires to the tank to make sure they are connected properly.
I have a 2015 KTM 1190 Adventure S with 55,000km on. It had all its services at...
I feel the manual isn't clear enough, they say i should measure 18 links and make sure the distance is max 272mm, and check the sprockets for wear (It shouldn't look like a shark fin). The don't mention the "play" between the chain and the sprocket (side to side, or pulling the chain away from...
Good day,
When do you guys reckon its a good time to change your sprockets and chain? I usually push it a bit with my offroad bike, but don't want to take a chance with my 1190. I'm on 33,000 km now.
Any suggestions on what to buy where?
It was definitely the filter! I've attached a couple of images. This is 30,000km of commuting between PTA and Randburg. Never been offroad for further than 50km. Never filled up at some dodge fuel station...
PS.
You don't need to remove the tank to remove the filter.
Hi,
I hope someone here can assist!?
My bike recently started cutting out every time i open the throttle. It only cuts out when i suddenly try to accelerate. If i gently open the throttle it gradually picks up revs. It feels / sounds like a fuel supply issue. Weird thing, this never happens...

- Brandwag buttress rock formation
Then either to fouriesburg or...
Thank you for all the info!
I managed to install everything without cutting a single wire! I didn't connect it to the main lights though. They are connected to the ignition, and can be switched on or off independently from the main lights as long as the ignition is on. These lights are...
If only i knew this 5 hours ago ;)
Thank you for the info! Will continue tomorrow! Spent the whole afternoon strippin my bike to the bone, only to re-assemble again (luckly with no spares at the end of it all)
