I have the same problem and want to get the metal connector kit. Any recommendations where to order? My understanding is that you cannot order the female connector alone from BMW, as it is considered part of the fuel pump assembly.
Hi there
I need to replace the quick disconnect fuel pump coupling assembly on my 2010 R1200GS. Dont feel like replacing the whole pump just because of a broken connector. Any advice on where to buy the screw-in female coupler?
Thanks

I am a daily commuter and tired of 'wondering' what lies ahead in the dark when on dims. What led spot lights would you recommend for GS, which will not break the bank and also easy to fit and wire?
Baie ontsteld vanoggend. My fiets so 3 weke terug sy 80k km service gehad, en fiets daarna nie selde nie. Bv toe ek wegtrek by dealer na service ruk hy dood. Vanoggend sien ek my AM is weg! Oproep na dealer, maar hulle weet van niks, soos verwag.
I've had the AM for 65k km installed on my 2010 GS. Bike has now done 73k km. Very happy with it. My average fuel consumption is 21.2km/l from day one to date. Problem is you get used to it and must remove it to remind you why you installed it in the first place
I noticed today that one of the screws that clamp my wundelich deflector onto my screen is lost. Anyone have an idea where I will get a replacement in Centurion area?
Hi there
I got a non runner Dacar kids quad from a friend. I suspect a dead CDI. Never heard of or or seen the brand. Anyone have an idea whom in the Centurion PTA Midrand area may be able to assist? Would love to revive the bike for my kids.

The signs as you enter the M2 East coming from the M1 South looks new - large overhead signs. As stated earlier, they are too late to do anything about it though - when you see them you are committed. The old signs with the 125cc capacity are still at some places on the M1, but these are fading...
This morning I had to go to JHB CBD on my GS. Took the M1 South, M2 East, and then Rissik off-ramp. I noticed that the M2 East road signs show that motorcycles are prohibited. Is this really the case, and is this enforced? Can anyone shed some light on this? Do not understand the rationale at...
I am a daily PTA-JHB commuter. Consumption varies 4.5-4.8, always better than 20km/l. My GS turns out way more economical than any of my previous e.g. 30k km on rear tyre, now 47k km on odo and still on original brake pads!!
Had my 40k service done at Motorrad Tech. Cost-wise not much cheaper than authorised dealer, but this includes tuning the bike on a dyno. Bike is richer and now goes like a demon. This is the best my bike has ever performed, and I will take my bike to them again anytime.
