Got mine at Full Throttle for R599.  It's the waterproof one but I manage to squeeze in the cable at the bottom.  Installed a 12v socket and USB charger is my friend.

Decided to go for the Anakee III as per the advises above and advise from NoMore at Just Bike Tire .  I want mileage after all. I'm on 39300km and let's see how much I'll get out of it.

I'm currently commuting to work daily and can't wait to start touring.  Doing the Proficiency Course at the Ryder academy on the 18th and then the Off-road course.  Once all that is done, I'm hitting the back roads. 

2007 Namib yellow GS1200 it is.  Took delivery last Tuesday.  All boxes, akropovic pipe, Zumo 500, extra screen, bigger side stand and bigger feet pegs.  Love it to bits.  Thnks for leading me in the right direction.

Hi Dogs, I received my 2007 GS1200 yesterday.  I'm in love and can't wait to take it on long journeys.  I'm on the lowest setting of the lowered seat and I stuggle a little bit to balance the bike. Is it possible to adjust the shock on these bikes?
