It happened to me too...  Have a 2006 model with 92000 km's on the clock. it turned out to be the micro switch on the front lever that was acting up, bought a replacement switch for R320, and when I wanted to replace it saw that the existing switch moved a bit and was not releasing properly...

GS 1200... Did 219km/h (gps) between Port Nolloth and Alexanderbay , on the revlimiter.  Changes to the bike is a BMC aircleaner, Bosson slip on and the standard headers without the cat. GS 1200 Adv (Riding buddy) did the same. Changes, full acropovic system and BMC filter. DT125...  115Km/h...

The only problem I experienced with the anakees is when travelling at 140 Km/h on a gravel road and you open up, you get a lot of wheelspin... :-\
