Had a similar problem on my strom in 2011, eventually cleaned each electrical connector. Problem solved. Look on the general strom thread about June/July 2011

I put heat shrink over my grips, then used the cricket bat grip.

Maybe the heat activated glue used on inflatable boats, this is just a suggestion please check if this will work. I have done numerous repairs to various soft plastic that has worked.

Hey Patrol tel me more about that vacuem box. What did you use to construct it and how do you operate it.

I have  taken a pair of my wife's stockings and lined the funnel, works really well.

With a lot of refiling and draining of the beer glass. ;)
