KTM 1190 adventure comes standard with Conti Attack duel purpose tyres. Rated for over 250km's when you on the tar and driving like a bat out of hell and great on the dirt roads - a lot slower of course ... crap in soft sand and mud. But never needed anything else - just adjust your riding style...

I found the toggle switch process from 'road' to 'offroad' to be seriously stupid.  :xxbah: Clutch in; (left hand) toggle switch on dash board cluster needs to be pressed twice (Right hand) that means eyes off the road; hands off the throttle; make sure mode is engaged then ride again ...

Standard Conti attack tyres are rated to 250 and are perfect for 80/20 road /dirt split. You will enjoy the speed sessions on tar and accordion all off road jaunt. If you looking for more off-road ability get a spare set of rims and clad them with Pirelli scorpions
